Herbal Lattes

A the moment we offer the Turmeric Latte, also known as 'Golden Milk'. It seems to be a 'new' trendy beverage. But actually is as old as the ayurvedic teachings. Turmeric is a root with lots of beneficial components. The sunny yellow colour of this latte adds to its uplifting, energizing properties.

The simple way of making it, is to add 1 tsp of the latte powder to 1 cup of milk of your choice. Then warm it gently, and, if desired, add your choice of sweetener.

The ayurvedic way is to first prepare a paste: 1/4 cup of latte powder mixed with 1/2 cup water in a pot. Let simmer on the stove until it turns into a paste. This can be stored in the fridge for up to 10 days.

To prepare a Turmeric Latte, add 1 tsp of the paste to 1 cup of milk of your choice. Bring to a boil, then add 1 tsp of coconut oil (optional), and sweeten to taste.
