Our Story: From our Homestead to Your Home

We came to Canada in 2009 with a clear purpose: to build an honest, traditional life close to the land. Our journey began in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, where Marlon Jugl and Sabine Weibrich chose a life without power or running water. Just hard work, strong values, and the determination that continues to guide our business today.

We started by growing and raising our own food the old-fashioned way — and shared what we made. Homemade pasta, jams, jellies, and preserves were the first products sold under the name Sabine’s Country Store at farmers markets across Saskatchewan: Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Nipawin, Regina, and Saskatoon. In 2011, Sebastian Weibrich joined the family — planning to stay for just a year or two.

It announces the market every Thursday from 7:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Centennial Arena Parking Lot on 2nd Ave. East and invites visitors to come see us at the market.

Growing Into Triple H Homestead

As our product line expanded to include herbal teas, salt-free spice blends, and traditional remedies, we changed our name in 2014 to Triple H Homestead to reflect our growing focus on:

Home-grown

Home-made

Home-Raised

In 2019, we opened the THH Country Store in Crooked River, offering a dedicated space for customers to explore, sample, and purchase our full line of natural goods. In 2023, we moved the store to Zenon Park, where we continue to welcome our local community and visitors from across the province.

Meanwhile, our homestead in Hudson Bay remains active — still crafting and preparing honest, artisan goods just like we did from the start.

Becoming Triple H Country Essentials

As we grew, we realized it was time for our name to reflect everything we’d become. In 2025, we rebranded as Triple H Country Essentials — a name that honors our roots and represents what we offer today: a trusted source for carefully crafted herbal and pantry essentials.

What does the Triple H stand for?

Herbal Knowledge – Drawing on traditional wisdom to craft effective, natural products

Herbal Craft – Making every item carefully in artisan batches

Herbal Care – Staying true to simple, honest ingredients that support real well-being

Our Values Haven't Changed

We’ve grown from a kitchen table to markets, trade shows, and a brick-and-mortar store — but our values haven’t changed. We still use homegrown, and locally sourced ingredients. We still make everything by hand. We still believe in honest work, clean ingredients, and serving our community with purpose.
